modern day chaos

I was working in a small e-commerce company for about half a year. It wasn’t anything exciting but it gave me some kind of stability so that was a welcomed change for me.

On the side, I was still trying to look for some clients to write for, and I was in the middle of self-publishing a picture book. There was so much going on and some days, on the train back home, all I felt was the heaviness in my head. I had so much to think about, yet I was thinking about nothing at all at the same time.

As I looked at the 5pm crowd around me, eyes closed or just scrolling mindlessly through their phones, I thought , “they must be feeling the same thing, too.”
